Newly established Kensho Investment Corporation is the evolution of Kenzo Capital Corporation, and will benefit from the experience Kenzo has acquired while successfully establishing itself as an advisor to German/Swiss investors within the Japanese real estate market. Kensho will be able to build on the long-term experience of its founder and CEO in investment and asset management in real estate in Japan, including a successful premier launch and solid growth of the first-ever German open end real estate fund focusing on Japan. The company will invest in real estate operations and build investment business platforms, including joint ventures.
Kensho Investment Corporation is the sole shareholder of two business platforms.
- Kensho Realty Corporation will focus on the domestic market, and is committed to enhancing transparency through data-based market research and providing investment support through brokerage and underwriting.
- Kensho Capital Management will serve international investors, providing investment and asset management advice to European investors on investment opportunities in Japan. The company will further advise and guide Japanese institutional investors targeting Europe as an investment region.
In addition, the company sponsors the Japanese German Real Estate Bridge jointly with bulwiegesa, one of the largest independent analysis companies in the real estate industry in continental Europe. The sponsors intend to use the platform to build a bridge for cross-border real-estate transactions for both Japanese investors in the German market and German investors in the Japanese market.
